About Us

David has long been committed to serving the disadvantaged and fighting for justice.  David received his law degree in 2009 from University of Tennessee College of Law with a certificate from UT’s prestigious Center for Entrepreneurial Law.  He worked for Chattanooga firm Eric Buchanan & Associates as a law clerk in 2008-10, fighting for the rights of disability insurance and Social Security claimants, and has been licensed to practice law in Tennessee since 2010.

While in law school, David worked in the UT Legal Clinic, advising non-profit organizations on legal issues.  He was a member of the Tennessee Law Review and the Knoxville chapter of the American Inns of Court.  David also served on the executive board of UT Law Women to help promote opportunities for women in the legal profession.

Prior to law school, David spent four years in Moscow, Russia, working as Senior Adviser to AIDS Foundation East-West, dedicated to fighting the HIV/AIDS epidemic in the countries of the former Soviet Union.  He had previously worked for Doctors Without Borders in New York, helping ensure that people in less-developed countries receive access to essential medicines.
David graduated with a B.A. from St. John’s College’s Great Books program in Annapolis, Maryland, in 1997 and was awarded an M.A. in Economics from Fordham University in New York in 2002.

He is a native Chattanoogan and was a member of the third graduating class of Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences in 1993. David is active in a number of professional organizations including the Tennessee Bar Association and the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

David is admitted to practice in all state courts of Tennessee and in the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Tennessee.  We are a debt relief agency.  We help people file for bankruptcy under the Bankruptcy Code.
